THRIFT STORE

Let's not forget our thrift store.... "The Almost Nothing More Than A Two Quarter Store" has those unique and hard to find items at a low, low price.  With a minimum price of 50 cents per item, we offer affordable shopping on new and gently used items for the whole family. (Some larger ticket items are sold for more but are still more than reasonable).  All items in the store have been donated to Wings of Power.

Donations can be dropped off during our business hours or placed in our donation bin on the south side of the building.  Any merchandise that cannot be sold in our store is donated to other charitable organizations. The excess from our thrift store is no longer picked up by the Canadian Diabetes Association. This means that we must either store the extra's or deliver them to Winnipeg ourselves. As we are limited on space and transportation, we ask that you please remember we only accept gently used items. If you are looking to drop off larger items, please call ahead to see if we can accommodate.  Proceeds from the store help cover our operating costs and support ongoing programs.

COMMUNITY GARDEN

Each spring we plant a community garden on the north side of Theresa House.  This garden is tended by our staff and anyone who wishes to volunteer their services.  Produce is gathered in the fall and prepared for our annual harvest dinner in October.
